At the 28th Rally del Rubinetto, Gianluca Quaderno and Lara Zanolo score first once more in the R3 class in a very wet race. Ninety cars made it to the finish line after a tough and selective race.

On a day marked by severe bad weather that put a strain on the crews, the cars but also the race direction, Gianluca Quaderno and Lara Zanolo celebrated by winning for the third time in a row the R3C class ranking aboard their Renault Clio from Bergamo Autofficina P.R.T.

It was a difficult and uncertain race – said Quaderno – we got started at the last stage, knowing we had to play it all out and so it was. A sweaty victory! I really like driving in poor grip conditions; I knew I could make it with the rain and so it was; the only regret for not being able to express the true potential due to poor visibility and the fogging of the glass of our car on some stages.

A short break for the Grignasco crew, just for some technical tests on the new car already in preparation for next year and then back to the starting line in the last round of the season; the Special Rally Circuit by Vedovati, scheduled for the first weekend of December between the curbs of Monza racetrack.
