Colourful and lively is the book accompanying the 2014 event Lodola&Mathis: a bright magenta for the cover and vivid chromacities in the inner pages, in tune with the brilliant and intense colours of the works by Marco Lodola and Jill Mathis.

The exhibition “Gilmour&Mathis. Contemporary art meets industry” has thus become a celebration of work in general and of the synergy created between two essential fields of human experience, art and industry, which are only too often kept apart.

At Genova in Blu 2012 Guidi presented Love Difference, becoming a main actor in a process that wants to encourage not only tolerance, but also acceptance and celebration of differences, which are seen as an asset for humanity.

Industria is a photo reportage carried out on our behalf by the American photographer Jill Mathis. We wanted to give our products an artistic perspective, by illustrating through pictures every stage of the manufacturing process.

Our adventure in the world of art began, timidly at first, in 2008, when we met the American photographer Jill Mathis and produced a book of her photographs to mark our company’s 40th anniversary.
