Turnover at +10% against 2022 and first promising results for Guidi America

We will be taking part in METSMarine Equipment Trade Show (Amsterdam, 15-17 November 2023) at the end of another successful year, also marked by new important developments.

Our stand will keep its traditional location, in Italy’s collective exhibition area (pavilion 12, stand 220), where we will be displaying the entire range of valves, strainers, water intakes, and accessories for the boating industry.

Our products are certainly always in the limelight, but it is figures that truly reflect the constant growth of the company, which in the first ten months of 2023 has recorded a +10% turnover increase against the same period last year.

Geographically, the Italy/rest of the world market share ratio is still well balanced, but over the last few months our results on the domestic market have grown considerably, bearing witness to the excellent health of the Italian boating industry.

The first achievements of newly-established Guidi America Inc. are very encouraging, too: in its first months of activity in the United States, our subsidiary has been met with great appreciation by boat builders and owners alike and recorded a good order intake.

Last October Guidi America Inc. had also taken part in another B2B show, the IBEX in Tampa.

Enlargement works are still ongoing at our manufacturing site in Grignasco (Novara). Once activities are finalized (completion is expected over the next few months), we will be able to rely on around 840 sq. m additional spaces, mostly used for incoming semi-finished products, manufacturing, and storage purposes.

The METS is always a precious opportunity for us to meet with both customers and our global distributor network. Our goal here in Amsterdam is to further strengthen our presence abroad, also thanks to the added value that the new American subsidiary is contributing on the US market, which is a strategic one for us.

At the same time, we are working on Research & Development in order to soon be able to launch new products and processes, as well as on logistics – including internal logistics – with the goal of optimizing manufacturing and shortening delivery times, explains Quality & Sustainability manager Daniele Guidi.
