Being interested in the psychological and emotional relationship of human beings with their environment, Elizabeth Aro explores the different ways architectural surroundings influence the spectator – both mentally and physically.
Intervening or integrating, she engages with specific installations, creating places of poetic density where imagination and reverie are bleeding into reality. She creates interdisciplinary media installation in gallery context and public spaces including sculpture, photos, drawings and video.
