The 4enduro championship continues to give satisfaction to our team, also in this third stage, the Enduro dei Gufi in Pogno (NO), a historic location for the Italian enduro mountain bike movement.
A long race divided into four special trails that combined technical sections with important pedal strokes, where an error-free ride is essential to try to achieve the maximum possible speed.
To make things even trickier, the rain that fell during the week made the ground quite insidious. Fortunately, Sunday was not an all day rain; there were some showers only during the final race.
Under these difficult conditions our guys were able to get great results starting in the amateur category with Filippo Masotti’s 1st place, second seasonal victory for him, and Alberto Stopani’s 2nd place.
They continue to show their growth compared to last season, finishing 10th and 14th respectively in the overall results.
Category podium also for Filippo Trabucco with a 2nd place and an absolute 27th place.
The ever-present Andrea Valsesia also qualified well: 11th in the category and 87th overall.
And finally, a good performance also for our younger guys, on the shorter path, with Francesco Gardina 7th in the category and 30th overall and Giosuè Guccini in 33rd in category and 46th overall.
Congratulations to all the team guys for this excellent first part of the season. Next appointment on May 19th in Punta Ala (GR) for the second round of the Superenduro championship.
