On display works from the “Guidi collection” at the Carrara exhibition.
Guidi Srl of Grignasco (No), one of the main companies in the world of nautical accessories, returns to exhibit directly at Seatec 2016, the sixteenth international exhibition dedicated to technologies, subcontracting and design for boats, yachts and ships (CarraraFiere , 6-8 April 2016).
Guidi’s participation in Seatec will focus on setting up an important 60 m2 institutional stand (hall C, stand 642), but will also be completed by the placement in different points of the exhibition of some suggestive works of art, created in recent years on behalf of the company by internationally renowned artists.
These works, which together now constitute a sort of “Guidi collection“, will enrich the exhibition as a whole, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy a small art exhibition inside the pavilions.
During Seatec, Guidi will present to professional operators its complete production of accessories in bronze, brass, chromed, nickel-plated and aluminum, anti-block valves, sea cocks, drains, water purification filters and fittings, but, continuing along the path of “modern patronage” undertaken for several years, will also exhibit:
an installation by the artist Marco Lodola, a luminous motorboat of great impact and charm that symbolizes the future.
a recycled cardboard reproduction of a yacht from the historic Camuffo shipyard in Portogruaro, the work of the English sculptor Chris Gilmour
a collection of eight photos by American artist Jill Mathis depicting various Guidi products
