The end of the season is approaching for Guidi Rosas Bike team, busy on several fronts during the latest two weeks of September.

On Sunday September 20th some of our athletes started the second stage of the ION Cup 2020 circuit, at the Bike Park in Limone Piemonte (CN).

Rain and mud didn’t stop our boys:

  • Angeletti Michele ended in a solid 4th position
  • followed by Andrea Valsesia in 53rd position
  • Alessandro Ceruetto in 83rd position
  • Dario Zaccagnino in 92nd position
  • and Fabio Grotto in 98th position.

The following weekend was instead the turn of Finale Ligure (SV), traditional destination of the world level enduro races, with the final stage of the Enduro World Series, characterized this year by a shorter calendar due to the sanitary emergency.

On Saturday 26 September both the amateurs of the Rider Trophy and the “pros” of the Bluegrass EWS challenged each other on the Ligurian trails.

The race was tough as expected, with extremely technical special stages alternating with long uphill transfers for a total distance of over 60 kilometres and 1800 meters of elevation gain.

Excellent performance of our Filippo Masotti who ended with an excellent 6th place in the under21 category of the Rider Trophy.

A big “thanks” to all our guys and congratulations to the organizers of the events, for to the difficulties in managing races in this very complicated period.
