MCE -A “technical” trade fair for insiders
It may not have the glamour of the most celebrated boat shows, with the slender profiles of yachts moored in marinas and wide outdoor spaces, but MCE-Expocomfort (Fieramilano, 28 June – 1 July 2022) is very important in other respects.
This is why Guidi chose to be an exhibitor at the 42nd edition of this biennial event, which had to be postponed over the last couple of years due to the pandemic.
This international exhibition, open to professionals only, revolves around energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, and all living comfort technologies for residential, industrial and commercial buildings. On display at MCE are the best and most advanced water treatment, air conditioning, heating and plumbing solutions, water and bathroom fittings, etc.
This is, therefore, an excellent venue to showcase Guidi products, which are being increasingly used for civil and residential applications. In order to display them at their very best, a large 63 m2 stand was set up in Pavillion 4, the one mainly dedicated to valves and fittings.
Guidi’s participation in MCE was extremely fruitful, despite the event’s slightly lower profile this year following its postponement to a different season due to Covid-19 restrictions. For one, it provided an opportunity to meet a number of suppliers, a category that is not always possible to meet face to face at other events, but with whom meeting in person is always vital. Meetings also took place with both existing customers and prospects, including from foreign countries, with an interesting development potential.
As is always the case, we want to extend our gratitude to Lauro and Alessio Natali for their technical support during the exhibition.
The highly technical content of this exhibition, attended by experienced and qualified operators, goes well with the very innovative features of a number of Guidi products. Their application in the boating industry, which truly puts their resistance to the test, attests to their durability in many ways – a strength that can then be ‘transferred’ to system engineering. The Company is going to focus even more on the civil engineering hydraulics segment in the near future, and efforts in this direction are already under way.
