Amsterdam event is a worldwide reference

The traditional METSMarine Equipment Trade Show (Amsterdam, November 15th-17th, 2023) was once again a key moment in Guidi’s development strategies, especially for foreign markets.

In fact, the B2B exhibition of nautical accessories confirmed its role as an irreplaceable tool for contacts with customers, distributors, and partners from all over the world. Digitization is all well and good, but talking to people face to face remains the best way to understand each other at first glance or reaching out agreement across problems.

This year on the Guidi booth, located again within the collective of Italian companies (Hall 12, booth 220), we welcomed some representatives of potential suppliers and other large international companies with whom future forms of collaboration are being explored (if it’s meant to be, it’ll keep…).

At METS, Guidi exhibited its entire production, with a special focus on the new non-stick valve with electronic actuator (code 2210AE), developed in collaboration with Gallinea Srl, who took care of the automation part.

The novelty was very well received by customers, thanks in part to the layout designed especially for the exhibition, with dedicated monitors and displays, which was very helpful in providing an in-depth yet immediate understanding of the features and benefits.

The Guidi team present in Amsterdam was as numerous as ever, but this such “expanded” crew was just enough to manage the large number of meetings that took place over the three days, often at the same time on several tables: in short, everyone was busy on a loop. A very good sign!
METS closed the so-called fall expos season, which in 2023 was particularly intense and required a great deal of effort, both organizational and certainly financial.

For Guidi, which has built much of its success on trade shows, these events are strategic for promoting its brand and consolidating that image of a prestigious company at international level, crucial for business development.
