Our artistic path with Alessandro Ciffo continues wonderfully. In fact, during the Venice Design 2017, the largest design exhibition running alongside La Biennale di Venezia, we will collaborate with the artist with the sponsorship of his event in Palazzo Michiel.

For this great event a devoted article will be published soon. For the moment we want to tell you about the evening, or rather about the experience offered during the Fuorisalone in Milan, by Alessandro Ciffo, silicone sculptor, and Matias Perdomo, chef at Contraste restaurant. These two innovators of perception have worked together to give the taste sunusual, unexpected and extraordinary sensations: a new way to create art and design.

The artist and the chef wanted to create a combination between food and silicone proposing ten dishes for ten dishes, all exciting and unexpected: the food, wonderfully delicious and so good looking, melted with the colours and shades of the silicone dishes.

The food art was blended with the silicone art in a pleasant correspondence of sensations: the flavours, the unexpected, the textures, the discovery, the doubt, the satisfaction, the surprise … Those pleasant moments brought about an atmosphere of complicity among those attending the dinner and also of well-being, that accompanied the evening until late at night.

It’s hard to find the words to describe this experience. We hope to convey some emotions with the photo gallery, at least as for the beauty of the works made by Ciffo, as for the food, we recommend a dinner at Contraste!
