The Speed Fire Racing drivers, thanks to the Rally Lana result, reap important points and maintain the ACI Sport Rally Cup and the Clio R3 Open Trophy leadership position.
On the 13th and 14th of July one of the most awaited races in the national rally scene took place, the 32nd Rally Lana with over 100 cars at the start and a list of first-rate participants.
Among them, also Gianluca Quaderno and Lara Zanolo at the start of the race in the crowded Piazza Duomo in Biella.
The crew from Grignasco, on Renault Clio R3 of the Autofficina P.R.T. team, has been constantly fast and close to the more powerful and better performing 4-wheel drive R5 cars, managing good times during the two day race, finishing in 2nd place in the 2-wheel drive standings and 10th overall.
They were two hot days on the selective Biella special stages. An intense and demanding race, played in split seconds. We tried to be fast without making mistakes. We managed to stay calm, despite the established time that has partially penalized us.
However we stay motivated and will work to prepare ourselves for the next Rally del Rubinetto at the end of September.

After the victory obtained last June at the Rally Il Grappolo, this is another positive and important result that allows them to maintain the temporary leadership position, both in the ACI Sport Rally Cup and in the Clio R3 Open Trophy.
