Recap rally: a recap from the beginning of the 2022 rallying season. Straight from the seats of a car, steering wheel and notes in hand, here is an update from the Quaderno-Zanolo crew.

With June coming to an end, we are halfway through the 2022 rally season, and the time is ripe to take stock of the results achieved so far by the team, Gianluca Quaderno and Lara Zanolo.

The crew from Grignasco, sponsored by Guidi and supported by the Bergamo-based Autofficina PRT technical team, is doing well in both the CRZ national rally championship and the Michelin trophy, being in the lead in both provisional rankings.

Following a laboured 3rd place at the 58th Rally Valli Ossolane due to new tyres, their season improved to two excellent first places taken, first at the 6th Rally il Grappolo at the end of May and, more recently, at the 16th Rally of Alba.

This latter win is even more valuable with a view to the championship title, because the rally took place at the same time as the top Italian rallying series C.I.R.A and therefore assigned a higher score.
The pair is now facing one last crucial race on the familiar roads of the Biella mountains for the 35th Rally Lana, scheduled at the end of July and also assigning extra points, which could mathematically guarantee access to the Italian final with still two races to go.

So guys, go get’em!
