Sanremo, 22nd April, 2018
The Superenduro championship, the most prestigious circuit of our country, starts in Sanremo.
The best athletes of the national scene compete on these paths, often with the participation of many riders from abroad.
The ride level is very high, with long special trails, quite technical, physical and requiring important pedal strokes.
Liguria’s paths are always challenging, both for athletes and bicycles, because of the harsh territory. In addition to that, this week we had an early burst of Summer with high temperatures.
Because of all those difficulties, we are very proud of the Guidi Rosas Bike Team guys who took part in this race.
In the junior athletes’ category, Matteo Fancello, despite some difficulties due to heat and allergies, closes 13th overall and 10th in his category.
Filippo Masotti continues to achieve good results placing himself 71st overall and 8th in his category, in spite of a puncture during the PS2 (Special Test 2).
Andrea Valsesia, always present at the race weekends, finishes 191st overall and 23rd in his category.
Congratulations to our athletes and a sincere thanks to the whole organization.
Next meeting on May, 6th at the Oasi Zegna (Trivero) for the final race of the 4enduro circuit.
